Afterlive Music have once again entrusted Lightwave to deliver the Heavy Music Awards - marking our third time collaborating on this prestigious event.

Since its inception in 2017, the Heavy Music Awards has become a staple in any heavy music fan's calendar, honouring the genre's best with fan-voted accolades.

In 2020, as the world adapted to new challenges arising from the Covid-19 pandemic, the ceremony moved online and Lightwave was invited to help bring the event to life in a bold new way. From that moment, our partnership with Afterlive Music has grown exponentially and we are now a proud collaborator and sponsor of the awards, which have now returned to a live setting.

More recently, a sold-out O2 Forum Kentish Town has set the stage for an unforgettable night where artists, industry legends and devoted fans came together for an evening of celebration, performance and recognition of the past year's greatest achievements.

Lightwave played a pivotal role in shaping the event's audio visual spectacle, delivering world-class sound and video infrastructure for all awards, presenters and the four bands performing as part of the event.

We also supplemented the in-house rig with additional lighting fixtures whilst also accommodating the evening's highly anticipated headliner Neck Deep with a custom floor package. Every element was carefully curated to ensure the evening was an unforgettable experience for all.
