Highland Park is one of the oldest working distilleries in Scotland and is creator of multiple award winning whiskies. In 2023 they launched Highland Park 54 - their oldest and rarest whiskey to date. To celebrate they partnered with Global Bartending to create an experiential and immersive dining experience. Guests were invited to create their own Orkney botanical syrup before partaking in a paired dinner created by double Michelin Star chef James Cochran.
Long-standing client Global Bartending reached out to Lightwave Productions to collaborate in creating an outdoor wilderness inside a London Docklands venue, complete with rockeries, trees, foraging beds and even a waterfall. Utilising soft lighting and gobos we transformed the empty warehouse into an enchanting forest. Adding hidden speakers throughout the space allowed us to recreate the Isle of Orkney soundscape and transport guests far away from their urban location. During the dinner Lightwave projected complimentary visuals above the dining table to emulate elements of the paired course they were experiencing.
As if that wasn't enough, prior to entering the venue, guests were greeted with a visual feat. Utilising a multi-projector blend, the entire front of the venue was mapped to match the event's themes and provide guests with a taste of the secret oasis that awaited them inside.
